SDS Strutters is one of our competitive dance teams at Stacey’s Dance Studio. We strive to provide excellent dance training, team experience, and organization. SDS Strutters is for dancers ages 6 and up. We also have a Tiny Strutter Company for dancers ages 4 and 5. SDS Strutters take weekly ballet, tap, and technique classes and learn group choreography that they compete at 4 dance competitions each season. Our mission through classes and competition is to grow dancers’ technique, confidence, and grace while doing all we can on our side to reinforce the values and morals families strive to instill in their children. Dance brings us together, but the fun, friendships, memories, and more create an unforgettable bond that we call SDS Nation!

SDS Elite Company is a pre-professional training and competitive program designed to foster a deeper love for dance while focusing on technique, artistry, and discipline. The program helps dancers grow in confidence, maturity, and teamwork.

SDS Elite attends stage-based competitions and dance conventions and focuses on many training classes in different genres of dance. Elite dancers take Tap, Modern, Technique, and Combination/Hip Hop training classes in addition to Ballet each week, where we utilize a specialized Classical Ballet syllabus. Conventions are a fabulous way for students to get instruction from top industry professionals from across the country and be immersed in different styles of dance. SDS Elite additionally attends in-studio master classes throughout the year. Elite auditions are held in May.

Kingwood Ballet is the resident ballet company at SDS. Kingwood Ballet accepts experienced dancers 6 years old and older by audition only. Dancers train extensively in Ballet and other disciplines and are encouraged to take other styles of dance.

Kingwood Ballet's mission is to present professional quality productions in the community and provide ambitious, talented dancers with increased and challenging performance opportunities to enhance their training. SDS Crew is our resident Hip Hop performance group. Interested dancers should have some prior dance or hip-hop class experience, but extensive training is not required. SDS Crew will have several performance opportunities throughout the year and receive Hip Hop instruction and choreography. Auditions for SDS Crew are held in May.

Stacey's Dance Studio is proud to offer SDS Select, our All-Star dance program designed for experienced dancers entering 6th grade through high school. This program is for dedicated dancers who are looking to challenge themselves, expand their training, and prepare for future opportunities in high school, college, and beyond.

SDS Select focuses on developing strong technical dancers while introducing a variety of dance styles and performance experiences. Dancers receive training in Ballet, Technique, Stretch & Conditioning, Hip Hop, and College Prep styles, including Pom, helping them become versatile and well-rounded performers.

One of the unique aspects of SDS Select is its schedule, which is intentionally designed to allow dancers to participate in other school and extracurricular activities. Throughout the season, dancers compete in All-Star competitions, attend a National Championship, participate in in-studio master classes, and enjoy special travel opportunities that support both their dance training and team experience.

SDS Select offers USASF Youth, Junior, and Senior teams, providing dancers with opportunities to compete at a high level while continuing to grow in confidence, discipline, teamwork, and artistry.
